Love
Maryland Our love is expressed to do all we can to bring the gospel of Jesus Christ to the hearts of people.
|
Love is strong as death Why is God so intently interested in man? God made man in His own image. We are made in God’s image, sometimes we sense that amazing dignity and other times we feel the frailty of the dust we are made from. God loves man, He became a man to lift man from the dust. He lived among men, ate with them, sat with them, he hungered, thirst, was tired, felt our pain and then bore our sin. Love is as strong as death. When Christ took our sin, he took it in his human body, to the cross and to the grave. When he came out of the tomb he had dealt with sin and death forever. When Christ takes your sin it is gone forever. When you trust what He has done it is such a sure work, as sure as you cannot raise the dead, so if Christ is your Savior, you cannot bring your sins back from Christ’s tomb.
His salvation is so thorough, he saves to the uttermost and once
he has saved you nothing can break the power by which he dealt with your
sins.
